Our program is based on the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards, which focuses on the development of the whole child through the use of developmentally appropriate practices.  Our curriculum includes themes and skill based goals and objectives which are reinforced through hands on activities that encourage experimentation, creativity, discovery, exploration and investigation of the world around them.  These activities include Language/Literacy, Math, Religion, Creative Arts, Music & Movement, Science Exploration, Gross & Fine Motor Development, Sensory, Blocks and Dramatic Play.

Full Day Kindergarten Program

Kindergartners attend a full day program, which allows students to engage in a myriad of activities designed to help young learners explore, discover, and grow.  They will have opportunities to initiate learning and play, as well as take part in more structured learning under the guidance of a teacher and assistant, both of whom are guided by the Illinois State Board of education Standards and research-based curricula and practices.  By using the Illinois Early Learning Standards Kindergarten, our teachers are more equipped to recognize the interconnectedness of emotional, social, cognitive, and physical dev elopement and learning—the whole child.
